I'm Soma, a professional mixed media artist and art educator from Perth, Australia. With over 15 years of experience in Art and Design education at a leading Australian university, I am passionate about empowering people to use art as a gateway to well-being.
At Tranquil Canvas Art Academy, I offer both local and online art workshops and classes, sharing my unique blend of creative and mindful art techniques. I believe in the transformative power of art as a tool for self-care, demonstrating that no innate talent is required—anyone can paint. My goal is to connect people with their creative potential, helping them discover fresh perspectives, more meaningful connections, and inner peace.
In addition to teaching, I enjoy reading, quiet moments on the beach, and the company of my beloved fur-babies. A firm believer in karma and the law of attraction, I often engage in discussions about these topics alongside art.
